¡Que Buena Música!
Una mezcla de música Salsa y música Pop, ésta música Latina si que es algo extraordinario.
Que Cosa has created Latin music of substance expressed in a unique blending of Salsa music and Latin traditional and is an extraordinary discovery for the senses. Although there are many famous Salsa music artists, there are just as many independent artists that have worked diligently for decades writing, performing, and producing music that reaches a level of integrity and merit that is undeniable. Entre los dos, Larry Arone y Maite Garcia llevan muchos años de serious professional music experience. Larry’s professional career started when he was just fourteen years old….a tirelessly dedicated young man to his art. Larry’s passion and recognition for writing music earned him entrance to Berklee College of Music right out of high school. His formal music education culminated in a Master’s Degree from Cal State Los Angeles where he focused on all aspects of Salsa music.
Maite began her vocal training initially as a Mezzo Soprano y estudió por diez años antes de empezar una carrera de vocalista profesional. Her passion for music and connection with an audience is tangible. As a lyricist, she draws from the struggles and richly colored life as a First Generation American born to Chilean parents. Arone and Garcia met and started performing and writing together in 2000.
Prestamos un poco atención a la orquestación del disco....
A traditional Latin Percussion Section of Congas, Timbales, Bongos and Bell combine with brass representation from Trumpet, Trombone, Sax, Flute, and Flugelhorn to make the sound come alive for the listener. Infectious Piano montunos and lush string arrangements round out the instrumentation of the album. The simple beauty of Maite’s rich voice is perfectly suited to the songs on the album. From Bolero to Cha-cha-chá, she delivers an intimate listening experience that is full of heart and is just the type of auditory journey hoped for within the Salsa Music genre.
